“Thinking from the outside in” has been our motto since Day 1. GP+S Consulting was founded with this claim in 2001, in the middle of an economic crisis caused by risky speculations on the future of technology companies (“dotcom bubble”). As a result, a lot of office space was left empty, so we moved into an old villa with a view of the Kurpark in Bad Homburg – we would never have such a beautiful view from the office again.
Between Christmas and the New Year there were no silent nights, but piecework putting IKEA office furniture together. After the first projects it quickly became clear that there was very high demand for consulting services requiring sector knowledge and strategic expertise, coupled with a great understanding of technology. This fired the starting gun for the GP+S success story.
